MSV W1 Advanced PV Wafer laser Processing


M-Solv specializes in the supply of integrated photovoltaic wafer production tools, performing laser processes associated with the manufacture of high efficiency PV cells.  Example processes are:

Emitter Wrap Through EWT and Metalization Wrap through MWT rear contact via drilling
Selective dielectric (oxide/nitride) ablation
Selective emitter laser doping (SELD)
Laser fired contacts (LFC)
Laser grooved buried conductors (LGBC)

Production fabs are made up of MSV W1 turntable based modules able to handle either 125mm or 156mm wafers.  Tool production rate depends on the process and the number of modules.    Typical tool throughputs are 2400 wafers per hour but higher (or lower) is possible.
