Description

NIST Traceable Calibration

Laboratories and manufacturers are often faced with systematically establishing an unbroken chain of calibrations to specified references. All APE autocorrelator models are calibrated to a traceable standard in accordance with NIST (U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology) measurement traceability specifications. A printed and signed calibration certificate is provided with each pulseCheck.

Revealing Pre-pulses, Pedestals, Satellites

With a high contrast of > 60 dB pulseCheck Type 2 High Contrast reveals temporal information of intense pulses including their pre-pulses and pedestals.

High Contrast Measurments on a Logarithmic Scale

A so-called Type 2 autocorrelator measures laser pulses with a high contrast (dynamic range of above 6 orders of magnitude) and displays the results on a logarithmic scale.  This makes it possible to measure and resolve weak background signals, pre-pulses, post-pulses, pedestals, or satellite pulses.
